structured water
Using the narrative of a future with no water, I asked with elementary students in Ottawa’s east end how they would describe water. Students in grades 3 and 4 talked about what water is, why we need it and what happens if we don’t have it.
The students' responses provided the foundation for this series. I translated their thoughts and ideas into photographs using sets I constructed in my studio and experimental in-camera techniques.
Thank-you to the City of Ottawa for their financial assistance in creating this series.
